Getting there
PortAventura World sits beside Salou on the Costa Daurada, about 100 km south-west of Barcelona. By car, follow AP-7 to exit 35. R2 trains stop at PortAventura station in season. Buses run from Barcelona Sants and Reus airport in summer (90-120 minutes).
Hotels in Salou or Cambrils are minutes away; many run shuttles in peak weeks. Fly into Reus or Barcelona and pre-book transfers with luggage and children.
When does the park open?
Typically 10:00-18:00 spring and autumn, longer in summer. Ferrari Land and Caribe have shorter calendars.
Two parks in one day?
Yes with the right pass - many guests do PortAventura morning and Ferrari after lunch. Caribe is usually a full water day.
Lockers?
Rental lockers near the entrance and in some lands. Travel light on coaster days.
Food inside?
Cafes and kiosks in every land. Sealed water is usually fine; outside hot meals often not allowed.
Rain?
Outdoor rides may close briefly; shows may move indoors. Pack a light jacket.
